HD-Ready TVs mean you can connect a High Definition product

Yes, the Foxsat-HD does have scart & component connections
to allow you to connect to a non HD-Ready TV

do I need the FOXSAT if I already have a HD TV
HD-Ready does not mean you are actually receiving High Definition;
instead it means the TV set is ready to have a Foxsat-HD
connected to it for superior picture quality

is the USB port for?
The USB connection is used for Software updates in the factory
or Service Centre; customers will receive all new software
updates will be broadcast OTA (Over the Air) automatically

The Ethernet port is not yet active; as freesat release
new services in the future the software on the Humax freesat
products will be updated to utilise the Ethernet port.

I move the box to a different location?
Yes, if you move to a different location then you will still
require a satellite dish to receive the channels; if you
wish to receive the new regional channels then please enter
your new postcode in the freesat Tune menu

have a multi-room system, can I use the FOXSAT-HD
If you have a satellite Multi-room system you can use the
Foxsat-HD product.

I record and watch different channels on the FOXSAT-HD
No, the Foxsat-HD is a single tuner satellite product so
it is not possible to record and view 2 different freesat
channels

To change the Regional channels go to the Menu> Edit
Channels > Edit Customisable Channels menu or enter a
postcode for the area that you wish to receive the regional
channels from

I connect it to a Multi satellite system?
The Foxsat-HD product can be used with a DiSEqC 1.0 / 2.0
switch or a DiSEqC 1.2 motorised System.
