32in LCD TV with Integrated 160gb Twin Tuner PVR
London, 24th August 2006: Humax, one of the world's leading
set-top box manufacturers, today unveils the first model in
its new range of stylish, HD-ready LCD IDTVs. The sleek LP32-TDR1
provides the ultimate all-in-one product to watch and record
digital terrestrial TV, boasting a 32" widescreen LCD
panel and an integrated twin tuner personal video recorder
(PVR) that can store up to 100 hours of programming onto its
massive 160gb hard disk drive.
The Humax LP32-TDR1 puts users firmly in control of what
they watch and when. Viewers can pause and rewind live TV,
record one channel whilst watching another, or watch a previous
recording from the hard disk drive while recording another
channel. The fast and easy to use eight day Electronic Programme
Guide enables users to access extended programme information
to plan their viewing and set recordings at the touch of a
button.
The Humax LP32-TDR1 offers a whole host of additional functionality,
including: picture in picture, split screen viewing; digital
text and interactive services via its Mheg-5 engine; a CI
slot, so viewers can upgrade to even more TV channels through
Pay TV services; a HDMI slot for HD equipment; and Dolby Digital
5.1 sound. The Humax LP32-TDR1 also comes with:
- Three AV inputs to connect camcorders, digital cameras,
satellite and cable receivers, etc
- Inputs: HDMI, Component, S-Video, PC, Composite, 2 RGB
scarts
- Digital Audio output (S/PDIF)
- Over-the-air software upgrade capability to ensure maximum
product life
