What
do you mean you don't have QVC - how will you buy foldaway
rowing machines? It's time you got yourself a Freeview box.
Once plugged in, this one tunes itself into all the channels
automatically. We like the slick, responsive electronic programme
guide, although it doesn't offer you the option of previewing
channels before you select them. Style-wise, the device is
solid and functional - HUMAX's engineers don't even have a
word for 'curves'. The remote is more ergonomic, and as well
as a couple of Scart sockets, you get an optical output. The
Humax is a well-engineered package that genuinely feels like
it would last a lifetime - which is more than can be said
for those rowing machines. Tom Bailey
Neat,
dependable and reliable, the F2-FOX T is the Volkswagen of
Freeview boxes. That digital optical output is a bonus too.
